Yaxford Stamley

A joint Yaxley and Stamford Strollers 60+ squad took to the field in the prestigous 8-a-side, three touch Melton Mowbray Walkingfooty International tournament at Melton Town FC on 12th July.

Playing together as a squad for the first time, we got into our stride surprisingly quickly and played some excellent football, supporting each other from back to front, and progressing all the way to the Semi-Final before losing out on a penalty shootout to eventual tournament winners, Pollok.
