Stamford 2 v Ingles 65 0

Tight and quick game settled by 2 pens. Both dispatched by Rossi given for 4 non-walking offences and the other after the keeper walked out of his area thinking the ball had previously gone out of play.

Ingles had the ball in the net twice only to disallow one for being on the area and the other for running.

Stamford v Harborough 2-2

Hard fought game with good goals from Arch and a pen from Rossi after conceding early giving away possession in midfield.

Too much running from Harborough but Stamford lucky not to get a blue card.

Ospreys 3 Stamford 2

Not getting tight enough in first half saw us go quickly 3-0 down. Goals from Jez and Colin got us back into it but despite a few ‘hail mary’ efforts from Stamford including hitting the post and bar we couldn’t get back level.

Stamford 1 Oundle 2

Struggled to get on top with this game due to conceding possession too easily and then facing a ridiculously quick striker.

Dave unlucky to concede the first after making a good save only for the ball to spin over the line.

Oundle quickly went onto score a second.

Made changes to push all our stronger players further on and Rossi grabbed a well worked goal but we ultimately came up a little short.

1 win. 1 draw and 2 defeats.
