Norwich got off to a flier capitalising on an error in the home defence to go a goal up in the 2nd minute.
Stamford settled down and there was little to choose between the sides in the 1st half both sides creating half chances with both keepers making good saves. Then 8 minutes into the 2nd half a good passing move saw Norwich score a good goal to go 2-0 up. This was the key moment in the game as Stamford were finding it difficult to create openings.
Not long before the end Norwich added a 3rd.FT 3-0 and a deserved win for a very good Norwich team.
