Mixed fortunes at the second matchday of the new Midlands Premier League.
With half of the matchday 1 squad unavailable for this week, Stamford Whites struggled to get any flow into their game and lost both games 0-2 to Boston and then Bramcote. Man of the Matchday was Trevor Oliver who pulled off some great saves in goal.
Stamford Yellow faired better with a well deserved victory in their first game against Oakham.
Next up were Leicester in a very tight and sometimes tetchy affair. Unfortunately, after going a goal behind our lads couldn't get back level and lost the game 1-0.
