Peterborough 70+ League Matchday 1

A tough start for our new 70+ sqaud as we faced Corby and Peterborough on the opening day.

Strollers 0:3 Corby

Despite starting well and rwstricting space for the Corby players, a long range effort late in the game opened the scoring. After this, whilst trying to push for the equaliser our team shape struggled and Corby finished us off with two more late strikes.

Strollers 0:7 Peterborough

Next up were the league favourites, Peterborough. Our lads struggled with the movement of the strong Peterborough squad, and were soon behind.

After this we never recovered and despite having a few moments of good passing football, we tired and Peterborough were three up in the blink of an eye, going on to rout our lads with four more goals before the end of the game.
