Success for Stamford Ladies

Well done to Strollers Ladies who today won the first PDFL women’s trophy.

They won 5-3 against Kettering despite conceding in the first 30 seconds, and two penalties for encroaching in their own area. Vicky Burroughs scored all five, and hit both posts.

Strollers then walloped Leverington 5-1 - Cath Thirsk scored a nice goal with Vicky adding another four (and hit the bar). A great team effort.
