Risley 6 Stamford Strollers 1

The Strollers struggled to find any fluency in their game today as we stuttered to a 6-1 defeat at Risley. The home side were well organised and very competitive and it was obvious that their involvement in regular competitive league play has given them a sharp edge to their game.

The Strollers huffed and puffed and worked hard to get back in the game at 3-1 but Risley had the legs on us and scored three goals in the last ten minutes.

Many thanks to the lads that took the time out to travel over to Nottingham for this game.
