November PDFL

In League One, Strollers Social once again played their games with a great attitude and in good spirit. The results aren’t there yet but that’s not really the point. Having said that, they took the lead in their first game against Hampton United with a lovely finish from Kevin Hay.

In the Championship, Strollers welcomed back Paul Giffen to the club and he scored a hat-trick in our first game with Netherton Utd. Nigel Reeve also grabbed a hat-trick, and Merryn Kelby completed the scoring in a 7-0 rout. The second game was much tighter although Strollers created the better chances. One goal decided it - a penalty scored by Merryn. That leaves Strollers 3rd in the division, and unbeaten.
