Following on the success of having two players selected for England; Paul Kirby for the 50+ and Graham; Curry 60+, the Strollers have enjoyed more success with captain Taff Lovesey being selected for the Wales 60+ squad.
Having recently just missing out on a 50+ place, Taff was referred up to the 60+ team and was successful at the trials.
"Who would've thought that I'd get to pull on a national jersey at this time of life. I am feeling incredibly proud right now. Also, that I would be itching to reach my 60th birthday in May so I can qualify to play competitively and earn my first cap!" (Taff is currently 59).
A big thumbs up to all three of our international trialist successes.
