Once again changes had to be made to the A team squad with Andy Vessey and Dave Guest unavailable. However, it was pleasing to welcome back into the squad Taff Lovesey and Steve Bones, Jez Norris, Dave Forth and Jimmy Watson made their debuts.

Lincoln Invictus 0 Strollers A 3 (w/o)
Grimsby Corinthians 1 Strollers A 2 (Lovesey, Kelby)
Boston Utd 1 Strollers A 1 (Bones)
MD3 saw further improvement from Strollers A who won 2 and drew 1.
The first game against Lincoln saw Strollers awarded a 3-0 victory in the absence of Lincoln.
The second game against Grimsby Corinthians saw Strollers go behind to an early goal. Undaunted Strollers stuck to the their passing game and dominated possession creating a string of half chances. With time running out Taff Lovesey finished off a good move with a clinical finish into the corner of the goal. With almost the last kick of the match Dave Kelby produced a brilliant strike from distance to win the game for Strollers.
Match 3 was against a very strong Boston Utd side. A great finish from Steve Bones gave Strollers A the lead early in the first half which Strollers held for the majority of the game. With time running out Strollers had a man blue carded and Boston took full advantage to equalise.
