A corker of a cup game at Boston this evening saw us go down 4-6.
A goal from Jez Norris and one from Taff Lovesey put us 2-0 up at half time.
Boston fought back to 2-2 but two excellent strikes from Jez again saw us move 4-2 ahead.
Boston pressed us hard and poor clearances allowed them back to 4-4. We struggled to get out of defence after that and two late goals took the tie Boston’s way.
A top notch game enjoyed by all - of course we are disappointed to lose but doesn’t hurt quite so much being part of a competitive and exciting walking football game that was played in great spirit.
