A successful day for Stamford! 2 wins and top of the League on goal difference from last year’s champions Oakham. Let’s see if we can stay there!

In terms of our matches 0-0 at half time vs Kimberley and game frenetic. You could tell players hadn’t played competitively for a long time. We settled down second half and played some good football running out comfortable 3-0 winners with goals from Monaghan, Curry and Smith.
2nd game we created lots of chances and should have put the game to bed sooner. But Bramcote came back from 1-0 and 2-1 down to level at 2-2 until a Curry solo run and goal clinched a deserved win. Monaghan scored the other 2 goals.
